Introduction: The red lucky scroll being used during Chinese New Year as traditional decoration is called Fai Chun (揮春) in Cantonese. It is usually in square or rectangular shape, written with lucky phrases, hung on walls or doorways for good luck and prosperity. Nowadays, Fai Chun is mostly in printed versions, but owe to its variety in content and value in calligraphy, handwritten Fai Chun is still well-received by people. This workshop is for students who are willing to know more about the different forms and planning of content of Fai Chun. The speaker will demonstrate the handwriting skills and participants can also practise and write proper and elegant Fai Chun for themselves and their loved ones.
