Introduction:
This workshop will discuss the characteristics of trendy words between the three places across the Strait from the sociolinguistic point of view. Through comparing different trendy words from these three places, students will explore the specific types, cultural significance and in the patterns, they have been created on the internet of trendy words. Mastering basic features of trendy words will help students to understand the using trendy words for media and business purpose, as well as problems existing in the influence of trendy words.
