Chan Tsz Him holds a Ph.D. in Chinese Language and Literature from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is currently a part-time lecturer in the same department. His research interests include Hong Kong literature, modern Chinese poetry, and creative writing. He has published poetry collections such as Ghost Flame and Human Frame(《鬼火與人形》) and Fertile Shadows(《豐饒的陰影》), as well as an essay collection titled Descriptions of Monsters(《怪物描寫》). His poems have been featured in several Hong Kong poetry anthologies, and he writes a column, “Drifting Window,” for Ming Pao. Passionate about creative writing education, he believes that inspiration can be contagious. He has edited works such as *Ear Nest*, all related to this field.
