Dr. Ng Tsz Yan obtained her doctoral degree in Chinese Language and Literature from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After receiving her doctoral degree, she taught various Chinese language proficiency courses at different universities. She is currently a lecturer in this department.
Her research interests lie in the areas of modern Chinese literature, particularly in modern and contemporary Chinese fiction, Malaysian Chinese literature, Hong Kong literature, and Chinese language teaching.
